HEAVY-DUTY ENGINE OILS
TRUCK-GUARD®: built around your fleet
From long-distance haulage to stop-start bus and coach services, TRUCK-GUARD® is the core of Rock Oil’s commercial vehicle offering. The range brings together mixed-fleet engine oils, low-ash formulations and specialist products for demanding diesel applications.
Choose from conventional mixed-fleet grades, LS low-ash products and PLUS and ELITE options for applications with more demanding performance or drain-interval requirements. Selected ELITE LS-FE products serve engines requiring specific fuel-economy specifications.

- Modern after-treatment: selected low-ash oils for engines requiring protection of exhaust after-treatment systems.
- Demanding service schedules: selected extended-drain products, where authorised by the engine manufacturer.
The TRUCK-GUARD brochure sets out viscosity grades, API and ACEA performance levels, and product-specific manufacturer specifications, approvals and recommendations. Match these to each engine’s requirements; the products are not interchangeable.

Gear & axle oils
GEARAXL lubricants support gearboxes, axles and differentials working under heavy loads. The range includes synthetic and advanced synthetic extended-drain products, mineral EP oils and dedicated limited-slip formulations.
Cover gearbox, axle and differential lubrication across the fleet, with dedicated options for limited-slip units where specified.
Transmission fluids
Rock Oil’s ATF and MTF products support automatic, manual and specialist transmission systems. Selected fluids list requirements for commercial applications, including Allison, Voith and ZF systems.
Bring automatic, manual and specialist transmissions into the fleet servicing programme. Each fluid’s specification determines its suitability for the transmission.
KOOL-GUARD coolants
KOOL-GUARD offers IAT, OAT, NOAT and hybrid coolant technologies, with concentrates and ready-to-use products across the range. Options cover commercial engines as well as associated plant and equipment.
Support engine temperature control and cooling-system corrosion protection with the coolant technology and dilution specified for each vehicle.
ULTRA-HYD hydraulics
For vehicle-mounted hydraulic equipment and mobile plant, ULTRA-HYD includes high-viscosity-index and long-life fluids alongside zinc-free, synthetic, biodegradable and fire-resistant options.
Support lifting, loading and other vehicle-mounted equipment with hydraulic fluids for the system’s working temperatures and specialist environmental or fire-resistance requirements.
Workshop products for everyday maintenance
Support the main lubricant ranges with aerosols for cleaning, lubrication and component protection. The brochure includes BRAKE KLEEN for brake-part cleaning, COPPER ANTI-SEIZE for assembly and dismantling, WHITE SPRAY GREASE and OPEN GEAR CHAIN & WIRE for relevant lubrication tasks.
