Open Gear Chain & Wire is a heavy-duty lubricant designed to protect and silence gear mechanisms, even in the most demanding environments.
It resists slinging off moving gears, caking between gear teeth, and washing away from exposed racks and pinions. It is also resistant to steam, salt and fresh water, and has a wide temperature range.
Open Gear Chain & Wire can be used on all types of open gears, winches, rollers, cams, presses, and surface plant equipment, including offshore oil rigs, ships, and cranes.
Size Options
Depending on the product range, Rock Oil products are available in various sizes, including aerosols (where applicable), 12x1L packs, 4x4L packs, 4x5L packs, 20L containers, barrels, 1000L IBC's, and bulk deliveries from 500L to 30,000L.
