Rock Oil has joined the Northern Automotive Alliance (NAA), an organisation dedicated to fostering collaboration and innovation within the automotive sector across the North of England.
The NAA was launched in March 2004 with the backing of regional government funding. However, in 2010, the funding landscape shifted, and the organisation transitioned into an independent, not-for-profit company. Today, it boasts a membership of around ninety companies, all working together to strengthen the region’s automotive industry.
The NAA is built on the principles of partnership and collaboration, bringing together businesses, public sector organisations, and industry leaders. It has long-standing relationships with the Department for Business and Trade, regional universities and colleges, and local councils. Also, the organisation works closely with key trade bodies, including the SMMT, Automotive Council, Make UK, as well as major innovation hubs like the Advanced Propulsion Centre and Innovate UK.
Becoming a part of the network aligns with Rock Oil’s commitment to innovation, quality, and industry leadership. Earlier this week, we had the pleasure of welcoming the NAA team to our facilities, where we offered a detailed insight into our operations and expertise, followed by a tour of our state-of-the-art laboratory and manufacturing plant in Warrington.
At Rock Oil, we understand that success is about more than just supplying high-quality lubricants – it’s also about building strong partnerships, sharing knowledge, and driving progress. We look forward to working closely with the NAA and fellow members, supporting them in achieving their business goals while strengthening the future of the UK automotive sector.
