- Product rationalisation potential – TRUCK-GUARD ELITE LS 5W-30 meets both High SAPS and Low/Mid SAPS specifications through specialised salicylate/sulphonate detergent chemistry. As a result, TRUCK-GUARD ELITE LS 5W-30 offers wider vehicle coverage than conventional Low SAPS heavy-duty diesel engine oils.
- Reduced fleet operating costs – During field trials, TRUCK-GUARD ELITE LS 5W-30 achieved up to 5.5% higher fuel economy compared with a typical ACEA E9 / API CJ-4 15W-40.
- Less downtime – TRUCK-GUARD ELITE LS 5W-30 supports significantly extended drain intervals over conventional Low SAPS lubricants, in accordance with OEM recommendations.
Applications
TRUCK-GUARD ELITE LS SERIES products are suitable for Euro 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 compliant truck, bus and industrial engines. They are also suitable for Tier 4 / Stage IV off-highway applications, including those fitted with SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction), EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) and DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) emission control systems.
