Transformer Oil is a specially refined and treated low viscosity mineral oil. It complies with the stringent requirements of IEC 296 / BS 148 Class I and II specification for dielectric fluids. It is non-inhibited, with a high natural resistance to oxidation and breakdown under arcing.

Transformer Oil is subjected to special drying and de-watering processes during manufacture, imparting excellent dielectric strength and good low temperature flow characteristics. Extreme care must be taken in storage and handling, as the material is highly hygroscopic. (This product has a Maximum shelf-life when stored in drums in ‘ideal’ conditions of 6 months.)
