PTFE S1470 GREASE
A premium quality lithium complex soap grease, reinforced with Extreme Pressure (EP), PTFE and anti-corrosion agents, designed for use in all anti-friction and plain bearings subjected to high load, and where water washout or ingress is a problem. The adhesive nature of PTFE S1470 GREASE makes it suitable for a wide range of applications in very wet and aggressive environments. Suitable for the lubrication of sliding surfaces, heavy-duty
bearings subjected to really aggressive working conditions. The de-watering properties of this product make it highly suitable for application to wet slides and surfaces such as booms on cranes.

PTFE S1470 GREASE can be applied by hand, or by using a standard grease gun (400g cartridges available), or via a central lubricating system capable of pumping an NLGI No.2 grease.
As with all greases used for the first time, check compatibility with the grease applied previously and if necessary purge bearings prior to application. As a general rule, take care not to over-lubricate and apply the quantity of grease recommended by the bearing manufacturer.
