A di-methyl siloxane free anti-foam designed to be as a foam control agent in semi-synthetic metalworking fluids.
Features
- The product is designed to be used as a post treatment additive in made up metalworking emulsions.
- Typical dosage levels are between 50 and 500 ppm depending on severity of conditions, hardness of water and concentration of fluid.
- Unlike many other anti-foams used in this application, the rate of depletion is very low and may take many days before the anti-foam is used again.
- Product is silicone free is compatible with surface coatings (such as paint) that may be applied to the metal surface after machining.
