GENERATOR-GUARD MA 40
A high performance gas engine oil that provides advanced protection of stationary engines. GENERATOR-GUARD MA 40 is for use in severe service applications which require medium ash oils or where ‘sour gas’ is in use. GENERATOR-GUARD MA 40 is recommended for use in a wide range of two and four stroke heavy-duty applications and operating environments found in the power generation industry.
Formulation based on high quality ‘Group II’ base oils in combination with latest salicylate detergent chemistry, which allows significantly extended drain intervals when compared with conventional gas engine oils.
Effective TBN reserve to control acids and nitrates
Excellent detergent/dispersant characteristics provide outstanding engine cleanliness
Low levels of Zinc and Phosphorus to improve catalytic converter life (Phosphorus less than 300ppm), in line with industry requirements.
Outstanding corrosion protection required for engines running on harsh gases such as ‘sour gas’.
