This is achieved through an atomiser or by direct feed into very high-temperature steam environments. As the oil is atomised into a mist, it is carried along by the steam to the lubrication point, creating a protective film that reduces friction and wear. Additionally, the oil effectively prevents steam leakage past critical components such as valves and pistons.
