PRO-GUARD ENVIRO EP2 GREASE
PRO-GUARD ENVIRO EP2 GREASE is truly biodegradable multi-purpose grease. Lithium/Calcium soap thickened grease incorporating non-toxic solid lubricants, extreme pressure additives, and a blend of antioxidants and corrosion inhibitors, combined to provide highly effective lubrication with excellent corrosion protection, particularly suitable for the offshore industry. It’s adhesive nature makes it suitable for a wide range of applications for general purpose greasing of all types of bearings including heavy-duty bearings in very wet and aggressive environments. Other typical application areas are dockside cranes, draglines, water treatment and situations where a biodegradable lubricant
is preferred for environmental reasons. The ingredients used in the manufacture of PRO-GUARD ENVIRO EP2 GREASE are naturally accuring or readly biodegrade by micro-organisms, so making this product environmentally friendly when compared to conventional lubricants.

PRO-GUARD ENVIRO EP2 GREASE can be applied by hand, or by using a standard grease gun (400gm cartridges available), or via a central lubricating system capable of pumping NLGI No.2 grease. As with all greases used for the first time, check compatibility with the grease applied previously and if necessary purge bearings prior to application. Likewise, as a general rule, take care not to over-lubricate and apply the quantity of grease recommended by the bearing manufacturer.
