Ethylene glycol is a colourless, viscous, practically odourless liquid. It is highly hygroscopic. Propylene is miscible in all rations with water, alcohols, esters, ketones and amines. It has limited misciblility with halogenated hydrocarbons and is not miscible with aliphatic hydrocarbons, ester, animal or vegetable oils
