FG CHAIN & GEAR OIL ISO 220
Fully synthetic food grade oils with characteristics that make them particularly suited for the lubrication of drive chains, conveyor chains and gearboxes and reduction units. FG Chain & Gear Oils contain special additives that extend relubrication intervals considerably; and do not contain any mineral oil.
(When used on chains)
Penetrates to the links and pins reducing wear and extending chain life
Tackiness additives ensure non-drip, no fling thus providing lasting lubrication
Excellent adhesive characteristics ensures a high degree of water resistance and protects parts from corrosion even in the presence of acidic materials commonly associated with the food and drinks industries
Extremely wide temperature range ensures maximum application versatility
(When used in gearboxes)
Extremely good oxidation stability which extends lubricant life
Unaffected by water – demulsibility ensures total separation of water from oil
Tackiness additives coat gears effectively and provide anti-wear protection at start-up
Synthetic oil with high Viscosity Index ensures reduced viscosity change with temperature increase
Method Of Application
For drive and conveyor chains – Apply sparingly by brush or oil can as required. Can also be applied automatically using a central drip feed system.
For gearboxes and reduction units – Ensure that the gearbox manufacturers’ lubricant rating corresponds to the correct ISO viscosity grade gear oil.
All ingredients are FDA listed. Rock Oil FG Chain & Gear Oil is NSF H1 registered and meets the USDA 1998 H1 Guidelines. NSF Registration No. 131355 (150), 131354 (220), 131353 (320) .These products contain no genetically modified ingredients and do not contain any nut oil or derivatives.
